Yo people, I am sitting here changing all the club names around, and I need some help figuring out which clubs are which.

Can somebody tell me what the real names of these clubs are?

Patagonia
Pampas
Belo Horizonte
Athenakos FC
Valdai
Marmara

All of these clubs do not have real player names, so I am left in the dark. I was able to get a few, but not these. I need some help.

So far I love the gameplay and I am about ready to start a season.

Dude, they are not the same team names. They are all different.

I have WE8 International.

EDIT: Huh, thats weird. It seems like my format is the PES4 format, not WE8. Thats strange.

i guess they didnt change the european and north american version by that much

Yeah I got it Bes. Is my version older or something?

I guess it is because Barca still has Saviola. I hate having to change everything in the game. :fero:

I suppose the gameplay makes up for it though..

konami has always been known as lazy. they create the database and dont bother keeping up with it.
They should employ me, I'd happily do it for them. I would also make a great season for them that has European competition.

Hey, baby steps here Desi, baby steps.

I still miss the Champions League though. :D

once you get some WE points. you can buy this thing at the WE shop that makes you change the teams for the MAster league, so you can put any teams you want in the 4 leagues. i ussually do one with italian teams, one with spanish, one with english and one with the best of the rest.

makes it a little more real

Sweet that sounds much better. How many points do I need for that?

Moreover, how do I get points? Win Championships?

play games and win championships ( i think)

i think you need about 8000 or 10000 and you get 50 per each game played.

Andy, if you get your PS2 modded somehow (ask around), then I'll be glad to send you a copy of the Winning Eleven that I play. Perfect Kits, teams, transfers, logos, stadiums, chants....

but not leagues...you could edit that yourself like Bes said.
The only downside to it is that the advertizements on the field are in Arabic. and the backgrounds for the menus are replaced with cartoonish BS. :D

It won't be illegal since you already bought the original game. Mod chips are legal if you only use them to play copies of games that you already own. So no problems there.

Dude, you won't regret it.. you'll be enjoying limitless patches made by people like you and I who are up to date on all transfers...

Options:
1. You could find those patches online, learn how to patch yourself (not too hard) and burn your own copies. (I havn't made a patch in a year since WE7int, so I don't have links to the latest stuff... The WE8 patch that I have was given to me by a friend who went to KSA on vacation and came back with a patched version that he bought for $5)
2. You could give me your address and I can make you a copy of the game that I currently play. Like I said, the menu backgrounds are cluterred with cartoonish ads of Arab companies and the stadium adds are also arabic. Everything else is great. The Transfers of course or up to September 2004 I believe, so the winter transfers aren't set.

Yeah.. The menu is in English..

One more thing, I forgot that you live in Canada. Are Canadian TV sets and games PAL (like Europe and Asia) or NTSC 3.58 like the USA?

The game I have is NTSC that works on US TVs and PS2s.
