Ian, Zambrotta better than Camoranesi?? name one thing other than pace that Zambrotta has over camo. He can't cross, he can't shoot, and he certainly can't defend. His dribbles usually end up over the line for a GK and his passing is mediocre. His ball control is also inferior to camo.

If Zambrotta was that good no way will a player from Verona come in take his place both in the club and at the Nt.

Its actually a sad indictment on the Italian team or the manager is bonkers for Camo to displace everyone to be now the country's first choice left back

He might be modest and nice but i prefer my players to be good on the football pitch cos thats where it matters and though he is a tryer and gives u 100%, he aint all that and thank goodness for Camo

To say he is the most impressive Juventino this season is just foolhardy as he has not out performed Camo, Dp, Buffon. Ferrara, Nedved, Tacchi , Thuram and Davids

zambro's becoming a bit of a bvallhog himself...he doesn't regularly get the crosses off amd half the time they are wayward ones,zambro is infact trying to do something he can't-hold up the ball.he should be a sub if we get someone to play LB, pessotto can play there for now.imho pessotto is an excellent crosser of the ball.

Zambrotta is good enough with crosses....the thing is, it has to be with his right foot.

remember that zambrotta is at LB now, so he'll most likely be forced to cross with his left. that's why they suck. the only great crosses he made this season from the LB is when he cuts in from the wing and uses his right foot.


BTW Denco, i agree that he hasn't been the most impressive as a standing out player, but i think he's been called that just because he's been playing so many roles generally well in all of them.

i know Zambrotta isn't the "cream of the crop" when it comes to wingers, but he's the best that italy has to offer.

i also do agree that he has been key. A lot of Trezeguet's goals last season have come from Zambotta crosses.

he deserves the recognition.

Zambrotta isn't slow either. he's one of the fastest in juve.(behind Nedved and Davids) and considered avarege compared to other players in his position.

well, juve isn't made of gold you know. so we'll have to settle with the semi-best for now and ocncentrate on fixing the areas of the pitch where we do suck!

if u want a team made of world star players then go and cheer for Real Madrid!!! juventus is not that kind of team and that is what i love about it!!!!

it is a team that relies mainly on team work and not individual talents! although in the case of Nedved my theory does not apply but that is why i always said that our midfield needs a bit reconstruction!!!!

Zambo is a very decent player and he is doing well, why sell him and risk getting someone who MIGHT be or MIGHT not play as good as he does!!!!

our main concern should not be zambo but should be our central defense!!!!
Zambo is capable of filling many roles in the field and he has proved that so far by playing in 4 different positions

Right wing, Left wing, Right Back and Left Back!!! what more do u want him to do??? play as a goalkeeper???

and concerning his attitude he took it very well! other players might of have made it clear to the press about their hatred just like Thuram who at first wanted to leave coz he didn't want to play as a left back! but that is the coaches decision and after he had no other choice he had to adapt!!!!

Zambo should be appreciated for being a team player and not just an individual player! u keep on critisizing him for not being a world class player at the left back position!! well here it a thought!!! HE IS NOT A NATURAL LEFTBACK!!! he is only playing there to fill a position and help juventus!!!

in short we NEED players in juventus who would play with their heart and give the team the spirit they need! not players who play so they can cash their cheque at the end of the week and hit the news papers!!!

Concerning Camo, i like the player and he did wonders at the beginign of the season!!! but that was some extra ordinary form and since then he is not "world class" as some of u might want to call it!

How exactly do you know what our financial situation is like?If you want to win the Cl as most of us , I am sure would like, you have to shell out money, all our cheap deals and loan moves will win scudetto and the occasional cl but to be a real player , you need class, it may not be cheap but we are not poor and we have the potential to be richer but choose not to explore it

And are u tellimg me that with all the supposed scouts we are meant to have around the world we cannot find a decent winger or do we have to continue to make do with versatile players who are not extra ordinary but give u 100%

i used rolleyes suggesting that those players aren't axactly easy to get. they would be expensive to get (and the rolleyes meant that you should know that).
True juve has a lot of scouts, but the scouts aren't the ones who makes the choice about who goes in a team.

BTW, i'm sure juve isn't as rich as you think. they aren't backed by business men like some other clubs.
you dont have to have the box office players. this strategy is for Madrid and juve should take Valencia (the last 3 years) as an example of a team that can play beautiful football without spending like Real.

The envy doesn't come from the players, it comes from the play and the results.

but anyway, juve needs to focus on replacing the weakest links in the team than worry about replacing the good links with world class ones.

i'm sure if there were forums in the 90's than, everyone would have been envying juve.
