They usually collect information about Serie A much faster than channel4.com, and some of their editorials are worth reading. You can always sort out yourself which information is useless and witch is not, there are always sources.

Because there is no reason why it shouldnt be accurate (translation of what our officials said isconsistent with for example Juventus.com translation etc). They can invent angles and speculate with their own words with everything else, but the actual quotes of what is said is something they do and have to get it as it was said.

But when quotes are taken out of context they can be easily misinterpreted, don't you think?

Yes they can, and its up to you to see that, every media outlet does it, not just goal. I'm interested in the quotes they actually translate, not what they leave out etc, its better then nothing (skim to the "' parts of an article, ignore the rest basically).

I've been against banning Goal.com for a while but did not complain too much. Yes, they spread some rumors. Yes, they give some fucked up ratings. and Yes, some writers are not really making sense with their articles.

but the majority of rumors, if not all, are all taken from Tuttosport, Gazzetta and other well-known sources which are allowed on this forum.

I still don't see why Goal.com is not allowed on this forums!
Although I recommend we ban only articles published by Carlo 'Fuckface' Garganese

Come on give them a break.
Everybody tries to spread rumors, that is what the media business is all about. People want to read the news of tomorrow rather the 'absolute' truth about yesterday. As a matter of fact they got some great articles, although Carlo should've been fired a decade ago.
If you want them to be banned reasonably - you should point to some database analysis(ex. percentage of incorrect articles compared with other sites that we currently use). If not we(juventuz.com) are just as biased as we claim goal.com to be.
Again that is not arguing that Carlo 'Senseless' Garganese should not be banned. But there are some indians (or at least the name sound sth simular) that make quite accurate descriptions and topics..
