the vbookie only enters the 10/1 part in creating the event - that 10.00 you see is the system doing the conversion on it's own.

and that decimal there is merely the multiplication factor for the total winnings that corresponds to a 10/1 odds, it's not meant to signify decimal odds. In that regard, titling that entire column with "Odds" may indeed be a bit misleading but there is nothing the vbookie can do about it.

ok well thats fair enough if its a mistake on the system part thats different, i thought these things were typed in manually, but still i don't see how it requires getting a economics degree to see that 10.00 is not 10/1 on a betting scale

But didn't you mix up the names so people's bets got mixed up? And didn't you translate the decimals bets into fractions the wrong way?

the decimal ones - this is what the bookie enters and that's how the system calculates your winnings. that 10/1 part is just something the system puts in as a label only but it doesn't factor in calculating the winnings.
