the vbookie only enters the 10/1 part in creating the event - that 10.00 you see is the system doing the conversion on it's own.

and that decimal there is merely the multiplication factor for the total winnings that corresponds to a 10/1 odds, it's not meant to signify decimal odds. In that regard, titling that entire column with "Odds" may indeed be a bit misleading but there is nothing the vbookie can do about it.
ok well thats fair enough if its a mistake on the system part thats different, i thought these things were typed in manually, but still i don't see how it requires getting a economics degree to see that 10.00 is not 10/1 on a betting scale

If I want to take your place as a bookie? Prolly not. I don't see the fun it, but maybe I'm missing something?

But didn't you mix up the names so people's bets got mixed up? And didn't you translate the decimals bets into fractions the wrong way? :)
Not that it's a biggie, but it's kind of funny when a bookie fucks up the only two things they are supposed to do right. :D
why do you believe badass over me? cos he post pics alla rus
I have mixed up the names cos I didn't knew you couldn't update them. but I lost fun as people are only here to attack me. So that is why i quit.

andy you compare the real life betting system with this fake system
    that makes no sense
yes the real life bookie have a whole calculation behind it with their profits etc etc etc
we are just a simple betting thing

just as acmilan says. We can't change a thing and that is why i asked you the first question if you are a bookie. Cos if you were or have been you should know how it worked (here then). So stop attacking a system when you don't know the system behind it.
so why didn't you just say it was a systematic error rather than going all emo on it? Jees

Ehm, this isn't a situation where I have to believe either you or Badass. I basically just post my own opinions.
But relax a bit, will you. :) It was kind of funny that you mixed both things up, but since the fraction thing wasn't your fault, I gave you a +rep for that. ;)
I'm sure you'll learn to next time...

actually, it's the other way around ... you guys got me confused too :p

the bookie enters everything in decimal odds, but the system just puts that 10/1 part automatically - basically the system doesn't differentiate between decimal and fractional odds, in terms of representation. All betting here is done on the basis of decimal odds, hence why that 10.00 is the multi factor for total winnings.

so what are the actual odds then? the decimals or the fractions? because now that is even more misleading, might even have to void all bets

the decimal ones - this is what the bookie enters and that's how the system calculates your winnings. that 10/1 part is just something the system puts in as a label only but it doesn't factor in calculating the winnings.

what an useless system :D I thought it saved all the options already. cos in this case it makes no sense to update them in the first place
maybe @Marty can help me out?

what the fuck are you talking about
    10/1 is 10.00 or 10.00000000000000000000000000
I'm sorry, it's that way by design. I think acmilan explained.it best (regarding our system).

Don't worry about it, it'll be fine.
