I'm not completly sure about that though, even if he was used as a left-midfielder in the pre-season friendlies. He's right-footed and I think he is primarily a right-midfielder, could be wrong though.

You're right, according to the official site he can play anywhere in midfield. I guess he can play on the left like Giovinco, who's also right-footed.
