but thats not true, since DP does not depend on trez!
Oh really!?!? Then why would Del Piero pass it to Trezeguet in the first place if Trez isn't in a better scoring position than he is?

Del Piero creates spaces for Trez often, and sometimes Trez does that for DP too.

And can you honestly tell me that DP doesn't depend on Trez!? Oh come on!!!! You gotta be kidding me. I am a Del Piero fan, but hey, give credit to Trez too. Its a partnership, not a solo effort!!!

I agree with KeNgO. I can't understand why you guys criticize a player who has worked so hard for our club's success.

btw TOM i just wanna stress a point!

a striker's movement should not always involve moving with the ball!!!!

sometimes a striker's movement to the side would be much better than taking the ball and being able to hold on to it! as trezeguet's movement would make 1 or 2 defender's follow him and free up more space infront of goal!!!

trezeguet is not bad just coz u don't like his style of play! alot of people disagree with you tom so this time it is not just me! :D

I don't care :p I will argue until you accept my viewpoint or give up!!

Trez does not ahve movement with or without the ball. He just stands around! He doesn't even close down the goalie or defence man!

Obviously, KeNgO is right here! Tom, I think at least on this matter, give up! :D

He definetly doesn't just stand around! If it was so easy to do what he does, than why is he considered as one of the best strikers in the world? :)

Thank You!!!!

although what u said makes sense! i find it not enough to convince Tom!!! it would be much easier for all of us to Give Up and agree with Tom rather than him Change his Mind! :groan:

Not really, maybe you have.

Your viewpoint is biased and unreasonable. I'd never share it.
Oi Mate!, you claimed that DP was just as dependant on Trez as Trez is on DP! That's utter rubbish check the stats where one plays without the other. Without Trez, DP was the top scorer. Without DP, trez is crap.

i don't think DP depends on Trezeguet as much as Trezeguet depends on DP!!!!

but when DP and trez both play usualy DP supports trez and that explains the number of goals trez scores!
there is nothing wrong with that! DP is a better tactical player than trez but trez is better in the air and a better finisher!

Did I say that DP is AS DEPENDENT as Trez? Did I say that?

If you want me to clear up things to you and make it more simpler for you to understand, I said:

Del Piero creates spaces for Trez often, and sometimes Trez does that for DP too.
*Take note, SOMETIMES

And even if they did depend on each other as much, there's nothing wrong with that.

If they produce as much goals as each other, better! As long as it means more goals for Juve.

Anyway, let's stick to the topic.

How do you guys think Lippi should plot his attack on the Barca defense? Given the available player that is.

By the way, who are the players injured for the 1st leg tie?

:groan: what a cop out!

the only reason you want to stop this argument is because you know you are running out of things to say. How is my argument biased, since I like Trez and his club, Juventus, and yet I am criticising him.

?

Well, it doesn't seem like you like him for the way you are trashing him.

And this is not an argument. I am simply explaining a point. I don't wanna spend my time arguing with someone like you, you're too closed minded for that.

Primo / oded

dont you think your the ones being closed minded in dismissing toms (and mine) opinion as rubbish
Tom has outlined good points and his opinion is no less valid or worthy than yours.

oded you have admitted in the past you rarely see a game so in all fairness , how would you know.

As for did we think that way last season, I cant speak for tom but if you look back at my posts i've been saying it since before last season... so yes.

well last season I saw less games than I have this year. i now am getting extensive (pretty meaty stuff, about half an hour) of EVERY league game, plus every three weeks or so i get a full live game. LAst season I couldn't really say anything about Trez all round game, all I really saw was his goals..not really enough to discuss his pro's and cons as a player.
