I personally do not want to face Lyon because we could have a problem with their fast play on the wings, Juninho's freekick ability, and Carew's aerial ability...all of which we have had problems dealing with in the past against other sides. Lyon just strikes me as a side we could potentially mess up against, not to mention they have a solid defense.

I also would not like to face Liverpool again because Capello just cannot crack them and we will face even more problems against Benitez who has pretty much equalled Mourinho thus far as well.

If I had to choose an opponent we might as well prove ourselves from the word go and take on Chelsea or Barcelona without Xavi. If we are going to win this tournament we will have to face the better teams at some point in time so we might as well go for the jugular now. I would not want to face a side like Rangers because it will either be a worthless tie or an incredibly embarrassing experiance either way..

Bring on Anyone because we would have to meet most of them eventually and plus true champions do not fear any opposition, Forza Juve. Wait, when is the draw for the round of 16, is it the same day as the world cup draw?

i agree.PSV could surprise lots of teams.they're very underrated and donet get the credit that they deserve.

I actually dont think that would be the case against Juve. I take it that you speak of PSV as a well oiled machine post their encounters with Milan, easily their most prominent opponent in the last two seasons. But lets not forget the reason they did well was because of the clash of identical styles - fluidity in play, short passes, defense splitting balls. Juve on the other hand are the anti thesis of the same. That would indeed be two ends of the spectrum and I see too much quality on the Juve d-line for PSV to catch them off guard.

Any team that has the power to penetrate a defense with Stam, Nesta and Maldini has enough power to penetrate the Juve defense.

I also don't think you can describe PSV's style of play like you did for the reason they don't really have a specified style of play. Guus Hiddink adapts his kameleon team to the opponent; that makes them very dangerous.

although we are superior to madrid by far i dont think i would like to get them this season as they would be out for revenge and juve might be slightly over confident.

this season iam changing my philosophy for so long i hoped juve would get the easier draw, this season i say bring on a repeat of 2003, give juve, chelsea, barca, liverpool, milan anyone all the big guns in every round.

im fed up of juve been eliminated by inferior opposition in poor matches, so lets play the best in historical great memeorable matches and win.

to win this competion you have to beat the best teams like liverpool last year they
accounted for juve chelsea and milan.

i would love to see juve v chelsea, capello v mourinho.
two solid defensively strong teams.

teams i would like to draw..

chelsea liverpool barcelona man united

teams i dont want

real madrid lyon villareal arsenal

teams we cant get

milan inter udinese bayern

that leaves the ones that should be a juve victory

rangers psv ajax

i used a sort of liberty to predict who i think will qualify from the places still up for grabs tonight

hopefully show them what they are missing by dominating the middle of the park and chipping in with a few assists and a goal for good measure:pint:
