arsenal are a sweet fast flowing football team, but cannot handle physical battles and direct opponents see bolton game.

arsenal had a real easy group they will not progress much further in the CL

Bring on Anyone because we would have to meet most of them eventually and plus true champions do not fear any opposition, Forza Juve. Wait, when is the draw for the round of 16, is it the same day as the world cup draw?
it will be on the 10th if i'm not mistaken. Wc draw is on the 16th

i want us to meet Chelski, wanna hear Moanrinho boast about his team and then we beat the crap out of 'em.

heaven on earth... :)

Any team that has the power to penetrate a defense with Stam, Nesta and Maldini has enough power to penetrate the Juve defense.

I also don't think you can describe PSV's style of play like you did for the reason they don't really have a specified style of play. Guus Hiddink adapts his kameleon team to the opponent; that makes them very dangerous.

Quite a few teams have been penetrating the Milan defense off late, and I dont think there's too much to it, because quite frankly age has caught up with Maldini, Costacurta, Stam and the like. So on that count, I'd like to think Juve has a more stellar backline than their Serie A counterparts.

As for Guus Hiddink adapting PSV's style to the team they play, I think that only strengthens Juve's position further, because its even harder to beat Juve at their own game. Also, with Hiddink at the helm of affairs in Ozzieland, I doubt PSV have the capabilities to do a repeat of last year, as much as I have liked their performances in recent years.

Anyway, I've got a gut feeling we're getting Manchester United first up.

To be honest I'd rather have Man Utd then PSV at the moment. Hiddink always lets his team play slightly then the opponent, whoever that may be.

I'd love playing Arsenal.
Don't think I would. I'd say Arsenal would start out favourites to be honest. We just can't cope with Englidh teams' direct and physical approach, coupled with their never say die attitude - its been too much for us in past years.

I'll state the obvious and say that I would like to avoid Barca, Chelsea, and Lyon

Being a bit of a Rangers fan, I would like to see us get them in the next round. I dont think they have a shot, the way they've been playing

also, being an Arsenal fan, I think we could get over on them...it wouldn't be easy, but I think we'd be too strong for them in the midfield, and right now their defense is coping with injuries

Man utd is the team i want to avoid most.

    -best dead.
    -fegie's position in doubt.
    -keane gone.
-not assured of a place in the last 16.

    In first we have:
    Liverpool
    Lyon
    Barcelona
    Arsenal
    Inter
    Milan
    +
    G.D is undecided

    In second we have:
    Chelsea
    Rangers
    PSV
    Real Madrid
    Ajax
    +
    G.D and G.C undecided

I think it would be definetly better if we would top our group. I dont even think chelsea is THAT dangerous, altough they are the best team in that second team list....ofcourse mourinho is a great coach and they have a lot of players, but imo their game goes through lampard.....and do you know, he has played EVERY game in epl from 2001 or 2002 year, so it looks like his not a player who has problems with injures....if i am right he wasnt with chelsea yet, in 2001, so, his definetly a good player.....so if we might meet them, we have to keep our eyes moustly on him......they dont have very good, lets say world class strikers: godjohnson, cole, drogba arent definetly those....crespo and robben have injures often, robben isnt even striker imo, his more like a AM, well, atleast i have seen him more in midfield than in forward....but he has a very hard long range shot....

Now you might ask, what i am talking...but i saw interview in chelsea tv, after their game with liverpool what ended 0:0 and they also admited that they dont have a world class striker......

Second transfer period is coming.....they aint gona get a world class striker from other cl teams, so they might buy someone whos not that known in europe....maybe someone whos not even playing in europe.....although, you never know, they might buy toni.....for big money, you never know what viola might say.......although i doubt.....

    ----
rangers and ajax i think we would beat comfortable.
    ----
real madrid---well you never know, new coach might get something working again....although if they get their new coach start of next year then he might not salvage their problems so fast.....coach also needs time.....(if we have to play with them, i hope we get atleast a point in away game also against them!)
    ----
psv is a joker.....they can play well, like they won against milan and defended their lead well, but then again, they lost to matches by scoreline 3:0(schalke and fenerbache), although if i am correct, they lost away games only, so, they are playing well at home....although i think by class we should beat them also....I know we might underastimate them, but i think capello knows what his doing.
    ----
From c group, we could play with pana only, and i think we wont have much problems with them.....if udinese finish second, we cant play with them
    ----
    Group d is undecided....
but from those teams, i say villareal is the hardest oponent...if we look manu form right now....ofcourse manu might improve and i think england teams are hard to beat at their home.....they have a big crowd behind them....and if we remember last year...well....but they got two 0:0 draws at home!(against villa and lille)....
Lille is a small team, if we beat them with lot of goals at home, then its not a problem...they might surprise in their own stadium, because although they are a small team, they have a massive load of fans, well atleast against manu the stadium was full....and against juve also....so the crowd and atmosphere might put some pressure on us....
Benfica....well i havent watched benfica games, so i cant comment....whos theyr best players? I know miccoli playes there but whos their other key players....

Btw, if we would play with villa, we might see tachi playing against us! I still think for our goods, we should not have get rid of him...he would have been still a good backup/sub....but for him, its better, as he gets starting place there.....
    ------

We have to win our group!

my comment was about, if Juventus wins A group!

Thats why i didnt mention barca or lyon in my comment.....its definetly much harder if we get second place in our group..... SO TODAY, Capello better go out with one tactic: GOALS; GOALS; GOALS!

I think that it is better to get an easy team like Ajax or Rangers than Chelsea ,Barca or any other stronger, because the knockout stages start in February, which is for about 2 months from now,and many things could change,Man Utd can gain the form,Arsenal too,and we could lose the potential till than,so it is better to have easy opponents.

I don't actually mind at all what team will be drawed against Juve. I firmly believe in this squad and I can't see why they couldn't conquer it this year, all they need now is good luck. I hope Juve vs Real Madrid or Barca, but I wouldn't mind being fielded against the likes of Rangers or Ajax at all...
