i first started taking an interest with Juventus after the 1994 World Cup, cause i remember seeing Baggio, and my father had told me he played for Juventus, and even though my father and brother are both Milanisti, i turned out a juventino :D, just because i used to watch the highlights on Channel 4 with my brother, and after seeing Juve a few times, i fell in love.

Forza Juve!

BTW at that time i was 4 going to be 5 a few months after

Meh not really, perhaps in Italy but this is an international forum. My dad didn't take me to Delle Alpi to see Juve he took me to Söderstadion to see Hammarby :)

I think I started calling myself a fan of Juventus when Zlatan joined and really became one a few month after. Though it has always been my favourite outside of Sweden, and I have always sympathized with the club. Though I wasn't interested enough or as emotional attached I guess to really call myself a juve fan.
Don't want to ruin it, but not a really nice way of becoming fan:D

Jeez. Odd to see people my age have only been supporting Juve for 4 years..
Are you aluding on me, coz on my calc 2007-2003=4yrs.
For me it's embarasing to lie, not to overrate myself. I think 2 monts are enought if the team if your only love... Not excluding your hometown club!
Mine is Pobeda, I'm cheering for them before I went on school, in those times I didn't knowed that there were other leagues. I latter did!
BTW we are very close to winning the 'Prvenstvo'. Our 2 previsious games we beat out 2 fiercy rivals AWAY, and with 2 fixtures left we are in pole position caz our opponents have very dificult 2 games with the rest of the team sfrom leading four.
Wish us luck!

It was no criticism. I just found it odd. Like I said, I don't even remember when I started supporting Juventus.

Actually there's nothing bad/shame in supporting a team for 4years.

Ok, here's the story:

The year 2000, I'm 12 years old, South of France.

I am absolutely ignorant about the football world, eventho I loved playing the game with all my heart. People who I played with usually had someone's jersey, some team's. So I asked my mom to get me one too... so as all the kids I was a gloryhunter obviously :D and back in a day Zizou was the shit ;). So we go to the store to buy a #10 France NT jersey. But (fortunately) they ran out, so my mom said: "look there's a blue #10" and it was an Azzurri Del Piero jersey, I liked the name and we bought it, without having any idea who Del Piero is lol

So, Euro2000 started, and I was dying to finally see the guy I have a jersey of lol :D I was dissapointed to see him not start the 1st game against Turkey, but when he did come on, his 1st touch was a FK which hit the crossbar (from a pretty far distance I must say ;)), I watched him the whole tournament and fell in love with the originality of his game :).

Then found out he's a Juve player, and became a Juventino per sempre

Basically, coinsidence and Alex made me a Juventino and I thank God and my mom for that :D

i played soccer as a young kid like most american children do for a few years yet also like most i didnt really know there was proffesional soccer until the 2002 world cup. my parents arent sports fans and i wasnt exposed to any soccer through others or tv so i didnt pay attention to it. i first grew interested in proffesional soccer only 5 years ago with the 2002 world cup. italy were my nation of origin so i watched them and learned the names and clubs of the players. that fantastic goal against mexico and the excellent way del piero played was waht interested me in soccer so i bought fifa 2003 the video game and played as juventus since they had my new found inspiration i learned surfed the internet for weeks learning the clubs and teams, then began to watch soccer.

As Zé said, I'm supposed to be a Juve fan since I was born, in 1990. But I remember when I saw my first Juve, or at least the one I can remember, I was about 5-6. I remember I had a Juve shirt at that age.

:agree:

Right on, Baggio was my reason as well, only I saw him wearing the black and white stripes rather than the Italian shirt. I just liked Juventus' jerseys, that's about it...pretty superficial, but can you blame me? I was five or six. :D

That's a huge reason why I became a Juve fan. I just fell in love with the jersey; I had literally no idea about them before hand. :D

    Gotta love it!

initally i liked fiorentina and inter (because of Zenga) ofcourse i wasnt too crazy about the as now, but when Italy played in 90 i was cheering for them as were my family (old fans). Immediately i fell in love with Baggio, and after that i have alwasy been a juve fan. As a matter of fact i followed baggi in all the clubs he went, but by then i realised that juve was a team of characters and played football with more depth than any other team with a very intelligent defense and hard work that complemented it.

1993. I was 10 years old and I went to 3rd grade back then.

Everybody (and I mean every single guy) from my class was supporting Milan. Milan was indeed the biggest team of the world in that moment and everybody followed the trend of supporting them. I decided to be a rebel and started supporting Juve. After some time (2-3 years) I was becoming more and more atached to Juve and by the year 1996 I already adored Juve. Since 1993 I hate Milan from the guts and everytime Milan feel success and Juventus suffers my hate towards Milan grows more and more. That could explain some things to few members that criticise me of hating Milan so much. I really cannot help myself, even though I am more concentrated on loving Juventus, I have an orgasm every time Milan gets beaten, even in the most ordinary match.
