It was in '94 or '95 when I first saw Ravanelli play, I thought he was cool with the white hair and all that. :p Very quickly I started following Juve games and I really kind of fell in love. No particular reason I suppose, one player I liked played for us(Ravanelli) and that's that.

I figure for most people it's DP but I think Penna Bianca is cooler. :D

Personally, when I was 7 when I watched WC94 I fell in love with Baggio he was the best player. I actually remember crying when he lost that penalty. However, Juve Interested me when I found out that Zidane was their player but I didn't get into club football until later on after euro 2000 I cheered for Italy for all this time. When I DP lost those 2 chances against France. I fell in love with the guy. And as soon as i found out that he's also a Juventino .. I just couldn't help. (weird time to like DP at his worst moments :p )

My best friend who passed away about seven years ago (R.I.P) introduced me to Juventus when I was seven years old.We spent every single moment together & his dad is a staunch Juve supporter & I suppose their influence rubbed off on me.To make matters worse the area I stayed in at that point was an 80% Italian community.

I remember Casiraghi & Schillaci quite vividly. The entire community was extatic that Schillaci made the 1990 WC squad & he made the entire community jump for joy with his performances.Even though Italy didnt make it past Argentina,it was still a magical WC & one of my favourites.

How I miss those days.:touched:

I remember watching Maradona in 1990, i was 8, thats the first time i ever watched football and i was hooked. I didnt know what the World Cup was about, i thought it was an everyday thing. My mom told me that there would be another world cup in 4 years.
Thats when I fell in love with Baggio, I loved his game, his ponytail, i even grew a ponytail. I didnt even know what club football was until I heard that Baggio played for a team called AC Milan, shamefully I was a Milan fan.
I lived back in Nigeria and I met an Italian kid my age, we became best friends and he was a huge Juve supporter. One day I wore my Milan jersey to his house and his dad kicked me out. It was then I saw the light.
Since 96 I've been a Juve fan.

You became a Juve supporter because you were scared to get your ass kicked?

That's what I call loyalty, folks.

I happen to like teams at their worst moments. First I choose Italian football after their defeat to Brazil(94), when everybody else were cheering for brazil. Then a flurry of missed glory in the late 90s for Juve made me lean towards Juve. Also because there are almost no Juve fans where I live, so supporting Juve makes me feel special. Afterall they are the best team in Italy. But I myself didnt realise that I was a Juve fan until the 2001/02 season when Juve nicked the title from Inter in the final day of the season and a few rounds before that Buffon said we need a miracle to win Serie A. That was when I started praying for Juve.
