Rupert Murdoch??????

No

No

NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He and his ownership group single handedly ruined the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 1990's. They were once one of the crown Jewels of Major League Baseball, and his ownership group and management that he hired destroyed the franchise. Ruined the farm system, gave out ridiculous contracts to players, and were behind a coupel of the absolute worst baseball trades in history.

If he bought this team, it would be over. All over.

He has $$$ though. Football is completley different to baseball aswell. Also we would mainly keep our management now so he'd have no say in the transfers.

Under his watch, the Dodgers had one winning season and no division championships. In 7 seasons. He took a team that was on the cusp of doing something great, with 5 straight rookie of the year winners on the roster, and destoryed it.

I'm telling you. I've been a Dodgers fan since 1977, and I saw what that group did to that team.

It would be a horrible idea. And for the record, he had more money back then when he bought the Dodgers in 1998.

I'll take your word for it but could he possibly be any worse than EXOR?:p

Chirico: "Murdoch wants to buy it Juve? If you say Jacobelli believe it. Agnellini, sell to his uncle in America"

The opinion of Telelombardia, Marcello Chirico, said the interesting rumors yesterday by the Director of Quotidiano.net, Xavier Jacobelli, that the Australian magnate Rupert Murdoch would be interested in buying Juventus: "Xavier Jacobelli I know him well, worked together avendoci Il Giornale: it is serious, one of the few around still capable of doing credible journalism - Chirico writes on facebook -. If he says that Murdoch is interested in Juventus, I think that the news can be credited as true. And if be confirmed, I'd love that Elkann also took into serious consideration the option of selling the club. Why 'uncle from America' is an opportunity that I would not let me escape to review Juve finally back to being the Juventus. Agnellini , and dedicate yourself fully to vendetegliela vs cars. "

Money has not been the issue since our return to serie a. We have outspent many of the teams now ahead of us in the table, with tens of millions being wasted on players who contributed nothing. We also gave these players long term contracts with high wages, compounding the disastrous decision to sign them.
Fair point. Currently Juventus is the 8th richest club in the world (source: Deloitte) so it's not like we're desperate for cash, but spending it all on Grosso's wages and buying 7 central midfielders in 5 years probably isn't the best way to run a club.
