The same that could happen to Chelsea if Abramovich leaves or to the other clubs in debts if the owner leaves or decides not to bother anymore.
Fortunately we are a brand and there will always be a buyer if things go wrong in Juve and the owner leaves and decides to sell.

So you think we have a safety net of sorts? If it gets to the situation where someone promises us big money I suppose we can't be too fearful for the future of the club if there was a pull out, it'd be back to reality but the footing would be far superior to now.

I think once FIFA introduces stern regulations like salary caps & preventing clubs from racking up huge debts, there will be a huge increase in foreign ownership in most of the major football leagues. Most businessmen won't jump into a results driven industry that leads to massive debts year after year.

Why would there be in increase in foreign ownership when FIFIA will be regulation how much presidents can inject into the club?

Because clubs would actually generate profit, not to mention how the players could be used to market a potential owners company & products/service. Also international companies stand to gain a better social standing if they own a club in a particular country.

How would they generate a profit? Do you mean investing in advertising, marketing, etc instead of personal wealth being used? Or the actual sum paid for the club?

If salary caps are introduced that takes care of the profit issue. Most clubs use 70/80% of profits paying salaries.

Yes. But the cap is imposed on everyone, so another club can't offer your player twice his salary if that would send them over the cap. Which they can do today.
