Great minds think alike, Boz

But come to think of it, something I would have done differently is not assigning you as a moderator.
 hey man all i wanted was to clean up a messy situation, would gladly switch back to the old ways, not that it makes much difference to me

anyway was thinking this before, few years back me and my mate got jumped when blind drunk, ended up getting a pin put in to hold my cheekbone together, was not a nice experience.....BUT.....without that i would have taken another job as a chef, never ended up doing what i do for a living now, never would have met my italian ex-gf and might never have stumbled across this place. i believe everything happens for a reason,it's just what you make of it

Who?

Anyway, I went to Milano a few years ago to see Juve and I met some Milan fans there. One had come all the way from Australia, great guy. He told me the same thing, he use to be a chef but he didn't like all the stress so now he loves cooking at home and drives a cab for a living, loves that too. :D

Not painting n shit:D

Im talking about moviemaking.

ok my bad, then you should've been more specific by saying you wanted to study film. all i could think of was you painting, and wearing a tight ass leotard doing interpretive dance in an abandoned loft in lahore which you turned into your personal studio

I can certainly take my grades more seriously now, but it's too late to switch majors. I'd have to stay here another three years essentially.
Why three years? Aren't there any common courses that you can use for both majors? And can't you take like electives in finance and some extra courses just for the heck of it and do some graduate program in finance?

Well, basically there are no courses in meteo and finance that overlap, so that would not work unfortunately. The best bet, and what I was thinking, is that I'd just go into an MBA program and concentrate in finance. It would take at least another two years to get the finance classes I need at the undergrad level.

I can see that. My wife is seriously into food, and she's damn good at it. It's amazing that I'm still thin and don't weigh 400-lbs.

She does "speakeasy" dinners out of the house and earlier this month went to an advanced bootcamp for a week at the Culinary Institute of America in upstate NY. (They wrote a story about it in the Atlanta paper a couple weeks back -- that's her second from the right.)

Thing is, people ask her all the time if she wanted to start a restaurant or wanted to work full-time in the business. She's always like, "No way! Too many headaches, too much work..." So she keeps advancing it and gets paid for a living doing other things (not quite nursing, but she has been in health care for a good number of years.)

Things are always different when they are a fun hobby and when you depend on them for a living. Sometimes it works for people. But other times, it's better to keep them separate.

no, being croatian and having rommel on your avatar :D
:lol2:

You are on a roll this week, Señor...
