as i told before why do nuns cover the hair

why do sikh wear turban

why do budists wear special dress

that all don make sense but u have to respect

i will tell u the reason why the muslim wemen cover their body because thy feel it is relegious duty and it is normal in there area.

it is different from place to place and relegion to relegion for some relgions it is not decent if the wemen wear tight and short cloths in islam it is relegious duty for wemen to cover the body except face hands and feet.

i dont what to make problem but i want to explain why wemen wear like this and i hope u will respect their relegion and culture

First of all, becoming a nun nowadays is a choice. Second, AFAIK regular Buddhists are not required to wear a special dress. Third, when a husband, a father or a government forces women to dress in this very way, they basically mass oppress and torture the females. One does not express religion by being commanded.

Well its a choice over here also, I know lots of women that don't really abide by the Islamic rulings. Second there is no special dress for muslims, the black is tradition, it could be anything. Covering the face is not a must, its more traditon also. Western women don't really cover their heads with anything, they just wear that black robe loosely out of respect of Saudi culture, they are not prosocuted and stoned (in case you were wondering). There is no mass opression stop getting your info from whatever biased source you use, and take it from the horses mouth. And thats me!

a little out of topic ? any arabs here ? does arab women wear that black robe all teh time ?

Look my friend.
This is a typical wear of afghanistan people. Obviously, some muslims take it sometimes to the extreme as do many chrisitians like swimming naked :D
What i wanted to say that God has stated in his "coran" that female must keep some parts of the body covered ecxpet the face , the hands ...
God didn't want to suffocate females , he is very merciful but u know some human being love the extrems to be unique.

any one who want more explainations I'm here dudes :faq1:

how are taste preference personal vestimentary choices of someone else supposed to make sense to you? If you re ignorant enough to wipe 5 thousands years of history because allegedly it's the 21st century and covering your hair is "uncool" then you not understanding makes perfect sense.
:agree:

Myself I think it adds a certain kind of mystery to cover the hair, sexier as well cause they look pure.

What is up with people taking words out of context, only to idiotically bash them to enhance themselves in other people's eyes? If you cared to actually read through the topic you'd notice there was a small discussion, which is now getting blown out of proportion.

I never referred directly to Saudi Arabia. Take a look at the picture and tell me if you think all the women willingly put this on? I'm sure there are many who do, but far from all. Please tell me how many Saudi women will walk on the streets dressed as they like? Just look at the case in Iran, where covering your hair is mandatory. That is not religion, that is oppression. My biased source? Where are you getting all these conclusions from? My biased source is my own fucking eyes and ears.

Firstly the picture is pointless I agree. Infact theres a certain portion of muslims who would disregard taking pictures at all.. I wont go into this religiously is way too complicated to explain. Anyway about the hijab, apart from the taliban fundementalist and proberly teh iranian regime in general women are not forced to wear such attire. For such women its a matter of dignity, yes people find that amusing simply because its not part of their culture or rather religion but IMHO that is just totally arrogant. To take the mick or laugh at these people comes tos how what level of understanding you have behind that. If you watch CNN or Sky news and actually believe what they say about that all women are oppressed to wear such clothing then that is TOTALLY BS! I know plenty of muslim familes in britain as well as abroad who love wearing it to to them is honour dignity and beyond that.

Religious matters is where the issue goes a lil deeper, basically muslim women are supposed to cover themselfs, and stop getting the stupid lil weenie perverts from doing things which may later cause themself harm and possibly the women harm. Either them or sexually frustate them and go out and do Rape or become Peodophile. So its what they are told to do, make a culture and society that reflects dignity and honour. Now this isnt a woman thing either. Men are supposed to do the same too, they are told to keep themselfs to themselves and not go out there causing disturbances amongst women, if caught they are punished either by the "police" or what muslims believe punishment by god.

I wont go further and bore those who are too ignorant to learn other peoples culture and religions. All I ask is respect for everyone, bet it jews, muslims, be it any clown on the street.

If anyone is interesting in learning further about this then please PM me. I will be happy to oblige.

And please for all those sarcastic twats.. save it, I dont want no jokes being pulled about what I have explained.

Thank You.
