Do you know the cost of living in England Fred?

I make 20k a year at the moment. I probably see 12k of that in my account. 8k in tax that I have no control over. 40% of my wage I have no access to.
12k pounds is more than TT120,000 which is TT10,000 a month. Most people here don't make half that. Yes, living expenses taken into consideration.

I don't know about you guys, but I support Barca because they're great, they have Lionel Messi, they have the cutest guys, and they support the starving children in the world by having UNICEF as their jersey sponsor.

How can you sorta agree?

Not everyone makes the same amount of money. Some make minimum wage which is certainly a lot less in India, Colombia and Trinidad than it is in England. Some people pay rent/ mortgage, phone, water, electricity bill, have children, groceries, car expenses and school. How many of that do you have? A lot of people have nothing left over at the end of the month. Are they too poor to be worthy of being a Juve fan? Not to mention traveling from the Caribbean, S. America or Asia is a lot more difficult and costly than from England.
I can sorta agree IF people have the means and still won't.

I don't pay for a thing in my house, but i know exactly what you're talking about, there's no need to explain dude, i too have lived in the thirld world. :D

I'm from South America if you haven't noticed.

Nick, i strongly propose you travel and see the other side of the globe. The ignorance you've displayed today is quite alarming, and i mean absolutely no offense at all. I hope none is taken.

But who here has the means and won't go see his team?

I mean isn't that like a dream for a lot of us? Most of us would probably love to go see our teams play, if we had the means.

The guy seems an intelligent bloke most of the time, I just can't believe that he is being serious here.
If we had the means most of us would go watch Juve live.

I don't know about the economical situation of members here, but i'm guessing not many and that the ones with the means will do it anyway.

Fred, i'm not siding with Nick :shifty:

And of course i would, i would love to see a game at Stamford Bridge.

Were going round in circles tonight and not getting anywhere.
Nick, there's people who have jobs, ok. But most of the cases their wages will need to be stretched in order to pay for basic things, thus resulting in having zero spare money. They even hit the end of the month in red and have to figure out where to get money from, a lot of them have to work two jobs at the same time.

How in hell would they save for a trip to Europe when they hardly can pay for a living?
