I hate Inter now, but I used hate Roma or Lazio more when they were our biggest rivals and Inter as well being Inter.:D

There is no criterion to hate in order to become a fan. What matter is cheering on for the team, and that naturally means hating the nearest rivals. Hell, now that we are in Serie B, I am cheering on Roma, Lazio, and even, *gasp* Viola, because (1) if they do well Serie A chances of retaining that 4th CL spot goes infinitely higher than say Livorno, or Catania, and (2) I don't want Inter and to lesser extent Milan to win (BTW, I do want Milan to win that 4th place). I guess I am finding a soft spot for Palermo because of Amauri, and Barza (though there will be nothing worse than seeing Zampa proclaiming Palermo as the Champ). You can almost imagine him going, we won because the Championship was clean.

true juventino?

people who have cried when juventus lost the cl final to real madrid and their father mocked them ... what ? just me?
Priceless.:D

I have long forgotten to cry ever since Iraq scored an equalizer with a minute left in play that knocked us out of the place in 94 WC. I couldnt sleep for 3 days.

After that well, loosing to Dortmund seemed like we have been cheated (seriously we could have beaten them 7.5 out of 10) and Real match also hurt (6.5 out of 10 on this), but crying? No way!.:D

As much as i hate being in serie b i am kinda of grateful because it forced our club to get rid of personal i didn't care for and i'm sure everyone knows who i am talking about.

The last couple of years the club didn't feel the same for me, except for a few players we where turning into a club with no character and just cared about the money aspect of the game. I love Deschamps and the new team it's full of people with love for the club the way it should be and the way it was when i first started flollowing Juve.

Even though where in a little hardship now because of the demotion i feel this club will achieve great things with the new found spirit we have. It just has to make it threw this diffcult spell in front of us because everyone is gunning for us now more than ever. who would have thought the lega calcio would be so afraid of a serie b team.

People who claim to be "true" and sit around and worry about who is true or not are a waste of space. If you love Juve in your heart - win or lose - then that is true enough. I don't give a rat's ass if you've been a fan for 40 years or 4, as long as you're a fan.

:dielaugh:

I cried when they lost to Manchester United in the semi-finals in 1999; you should've seen the tears right after Cole scored to take the lead really late in the game. I thought for sure that Juventus was going to win, and I was so pissed. When my mom came home from work, I ran up to my room, skipped supper, and fell asleep. For some reason, I always did that when Juve or Italy lost. What a pussy...

I had to visit a friend to see it, he had cable. But he wasn't into football in the least. Come to think of it I don't know why he watched it with me, he could have been doing something else. When Mijatovic scored, he said "that kinda sucks for you, doesn't it?". He couldn't feint the slightest interest in the game.

Ah cable - good old days.:D

These days with internet streaming, heck, you forget how valuable those cable was in the 90s.

Video - Cable - Internet.

Its safe to say I have followed the complete evolution of a supporter following the team in modern days!:smoke:

I watched that game with my 2 Man Utd supporting cousins.

We went 2 up from Inzaghi and they both said to me "bet your loving this".. though I never celebrated during both goals, I stayed perfectly silent with my hands praying.

As I knew we were gonna loose coz Man Utd had so much luck that year.. I knew they were gona lift the trophy!!

Though im always quick to point out to them, since we've played them in the Champions League. the results are as follows:

PLD W D L
Juventus 8 3 1 4
Man Utd 8 4 1 3

But 2 of the seasons when they beat us it was in the group stages, and we went on to the finals.

And on our way 2 those finals both times we knocked out the teams that knocked out Man Utd i.e Monaco Real Madrid, (the former team knocked Utd out with a David Trezeguet goal!!)

So to sum up.. our 3 victories were better than theirs :D

Sorry for the long post but I've been drinking :pint: :D
