Sometimes I'm reminded how much we take modern conveniences for granted.
For example, I have this tiny, odd eyelash that grows out of place from the rest of them. It's further behind on the eyelid and instead of growing outward like the others, it grows upward, right into my eyeball!
Before I noticed this eyelash, it was causing major irritation and created a water bubble on my eye that burst when I rubbed it. I was freaking out and was going to see a doctor for it, then I eventually saw what the issue was.
So it was a simple matter of removing the eyelash with a tweezers and the problem was solved, even though it always grows back so I have to keep removing it.
Now if this was ancient times and there were no tweezers that could remove such a fine hair, what would have happened? Would my eye become infected and then I would have to extract it? Good Lord... thank goodness for tweezers.
You got it wrong my friend, I'm just getting married
Congrats, RIP and good luck all in one!
