Ancient folks were thinking about not getting eaten by animals while doing their daily chores and not about a punk eyelash :lol2:
but it makes me sad that in "ancient times" , even as recent as past 100 years so many mental illneses were being diagnosed as devil/demon possession.

think of poor people suffering from schizno or multiple personality disorders among other conditions.

poor people were getting burned alive for something they couldn't control.

There's a lot of movies that exist out there, right? The vast majority of which you will never see, and I'm sure a good portion of those you don't care to.

Now let's say a movie comes out and, for example, it's generating a lot of controversy for some reason. You know that you're never going to see this movie because you aren't interested enough in it to devote the time to it, but you want to know what's so controversial. Or perhaps a movie came out a while ago and it would be too much effort vs reward to find it and watch it. Or even if horror movie #28473 came out recently and you're just curious enough as to wonder why there is some random article about how it's actually a metaphor for x or y.

Would you consider it weird to read the plot on Wikipedia rather than watch the movie in question that you don't care enough to devote a few hours to? I do this a lot and my friends consider it weird, so I thought it would be best to consult the true paragon of social etiquette and behavior on the matter, www.juventuz.com.

Humans high and low have always been brutal. We are animals and it's part of the journey. Sad, yes.
Roman rulers eliminated rivals brutally just like how the mentally ill were killed.

I mostly watch trailer or highlight of scenes on Youtube and avoid spending time for watching a whole movie. Watching trailer tell me the story. moreover summary of plot is explained in the video description.

Today in much more civil times we just burn them alive on X.

Since I missed it when it came out four years ago, I’m finally watching the All Or Nothing Juventus series that Amazon made of Pirlo ‘s season as coach 2020-2021. The end of our 9 year Scudetto run.

It’s funny looking back after just a few years. Yeah, there’s McKennie eating like a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle. Rabiot is back to being a familiar useless. We draw repeatedly against mediocre sides and yet manage to be in third place, like today, because we hadn’t yet figured out how to lose matches.

But there are a few surprises. It’s not the 3-0 win in Barcelona, because we all remember that. It’s not the memory of Covid matches with little or no fans.

It was not how good Álvarito was despite being on the wrong end of so many close calls. It wasn’t that our unibrow muskrat chairman, Il Brutto Bruco, had the personality of cold, wet fettuccini.

Nor was it that Pavel Nedved looked like a blonde Javier Milei.

The biggest surprise for me so far? Holy crap, I so blocked the traumatic memory of Aaron Ramsey playing for us.

I may need to go to therapy after bringing up those dark horrors again.
