after the tree house for my son, i started a new project: a room in the attic. and i'll try to add a garderobe and a small bathroom too. easily my biggest construction project so far, i'm trying my best to not fuck it up. it's an attic of 8x9 meters, the roof makes it smaller, still a good 40 m2 will be usable. first few hours: installing rock wool insulation. much more enjoyable than the endless and useless debates on allegri lol

(that chimney will have to go of course)

amazon plugin doesn't work very well. he means this one:
Code:

btw i'd also go with a macbook, m1-m2 air is around your budget, just try to squeeze 16gb ram in somehow because apple makes it impossible to upgrade. same for storage, but there's a workaround, external ssd's can be a solution, enclosures are much cheaper than the daylight robbery of what apple charges for storage.

if you want to run other games and/or you want windows for any particular reason (for example i don't like osx at all and i'm used to the touch screen of my current lenovo), then this article is a pretty good way to start:

generally dell latitude, hp probook/elitebook, lenovo thinkpad, asus zenbook series can be nice, but you have to be careful with the exact model selection. problem is that some processors are pretty efficient, some aren't, and intel's power efficiency was pretty meh in general for years. the newest core ultra looks promising. amd's were fine lately as far as i know. for instance this one with an oled touchscreen, gimme: https://www.asus.com/hu/laptops/for-home/zenbook/zenbook-pro-15-oled-um535-amd-ryzen-5000-series/

personally i wouldn't get macbook. nothing wrong with it but if you just doing studying like using excell, youtube and some FM, you can save money by going non apple. macs good if you do lots of video editing for classes or youtube.

i'd save money and go pc.
