Yep, in wildly different fields. I don't really have any skill that I could utilize on my own.
Doesn’t your income get taxed very heavily like that?

I mastered a craft between the age of 16 and 20, started to pursue a career after that. That all went quite well and I ended up working both as a employee as for myself in two different fields.

Unless you’re a phd in some field I think that it can greatly benefit you to diversify, almost like with stocks or roulette where you don’t gamble on the same company or number. I really believe in building those safety nets and having some discipline.

As far as I know it just gets taxed as regular income, but I guess I'll end up finding out :D

Here you get some sort of discount on your income taxes but it only counts for 1 personal salary, the other (if working as a employee) gets taxed a lot more, therefore it isn’t seen as beneficial to work 2 jobs as a employee, but it might be different obviously in the US.

Will spend a couple of weeks in Malta, mostly working, but also took the family and will take a few days off.

Incredible how its almost November and they still have +27 every day, I'm still puzzled why they even bother selling sweaters and gloves. Also incredible how tiny everything is, half of the pavements are too tiny for a stroller and fiat punto is a normal sized car. :D
