Whoever decides the cadence of my scrum team has determined that it would be a good idea to end sprints on a Tuesday, but not start the next sprint until around noon on the following day. Someone brought up that this just leaves us in limbo for almost a full day, where we can't really move Jira tasks around because those story points would pretty much just be lost. The response was essentially "just do some documentation or something," rather than dev or QA work. Unparalleled leadership and planning from the top minds in Fintech once again. I need to get the hell out of here.
The documentation you should do is applying to other jobs.

Can you really pull it off? I personally don't think I can. I kinda like being around people as annoying as they can get.
I live alone and work from home now, I don't really have a lot of interaction as it is.
I grew up in the woods making traps and fires and shit for fun as a kid. I have studied survival techniques for years. My vehicle has 7 days of water and food in it, changes of clothes, all types of shit.
I can't watch shows like "Walking Dead" because they make so many poor choices when it comes to survival. Let's go up on this 5-story building to hide! Let's create drama and risk where, realistically, if you get a broken ankle, you die.
My greatest skill set is going to be wasted if we do not have an apocalypse.
