A friend of mine also lives in the UK and has the same arrangement as Fred. Another friend of mine lives in the Netherlands and is doing the same thing right now. I don't wanna get ahead of myself and say that it's possible in my case but I'm hoping it is.

Well, I'll aim for once a year even though it could get difficult if I want to visit other countries too. It's a lot of dough getting plane tickets to Bolivia.

However, if possible, I'll try to reach the same arrangement as @Fred and try to work from Bolivia for a couple of months a year.

It all depends on the type of work you do, and how strict your employer is. In principle a couple of months a year shouldnt be an issue. Its usually for tax and compensation issues that employers are wary of staff working in other countries/jurisdictions. But that's not an issue if its just a few months a year i think.

What I do, is i don't use my PTO's for going back to the UAE. That way, you can use them to travel to other countries. Especially since you're in Europe
