That will probably be the case. I just know Germany has been lagging a bit in terms of their opening protocols. Greece basically said they're fucked if they don't open up for tourism, so the hotels I originally booked two years ago in Santorini and Crete are even more expensive now. Plus the flights are expensive as hell if you want to go direct from major hubs in Europe back to the states unless you have a layover.

Given the cyclical patterns of this virus, my advice -- and don't do last-minute travel -- is to plan to a visit a place when it is a Covid hotspot. By the time you get there in a few months it will be fine. So India is looking pretty good right now come September.

You know, that was my business idea several years ago. With people going nuts for tastes-about-as-good-as-where-it-comes-from civet coffee (it's a thing for people with no taste and too much money ... don't ask), I had a business idea. Why not do celebrity civet coffee?

Basically, buy coffee roasted from beans that are crapped out of Angelina Jolie's ass. Celebrity provenance would jack the price even further.

Though now I suppose each celebrity loaf will have to come with an NFT where you can lookup the authenticated photo of them pinching one off.

I am so suing Gwyneth Colonblow if she dares do this.
