Bokassa was mucho loco. My father was a General in Somalia in that same type period (had officer and engineers training in 60s Leningrad, sired a Russian daughter in his youth, a half sister we never met, he could never find after decade of searching). And he used to tell us of the crazy stuff he heard about Bokassa in official channels. But the detail of clips is insane and impressive. The brutality of its ending is vintage Bokassa.
