I know what you mean, but the seat of Texas government, and University of Texas is definitely a part of Texas even though it is changing fast. Even when modern Texas was taking shape in 1920s and 30s Austin was different than Dallas and San Antonio. I wouldn’t go as far as calling it an island by itself.

Yeah they are cancer. One emailed me and we set up a call. He called me speaking with a British accent at 1000 mph, and I swear to god I couldn’t understand a word. I asked him several times to slow down yet they just repeated the same thing over with the same speed. It was like he had 10 cups of coffee before 9 AM.
