You Americans only know her for a day since she came over the pond to give a random speech, she has been terrorizing my country for a year already and she is responsible basically for another upcoming wave of taxes and bans for end-consumers, while the lower class is hit the hardest. Germans are gullible retards that love to follow a leader with simple solutions for fabricated problems, based on fantasy assumptions such as Germany being a major contributor of the climate change. So while Indians shit out coal-fired power stations, Chinese drown in smog, Muricans are world leaders in fracking, the fucking germans let their children skip school on Fridays to shove down 35000€ electric cuckboxes down a blue collar worker's throat while their moms keep their SUV. It's only a matter of time till certain political forces will return. I hate current Zeitgeist.
Everything about this post is overblown, inaccurate and ignorant :baus:

She's not responsible for any of that. Who died and made her Pope? No, you're confusing what she represents for people with the person itself. She's a figurehead, a useful tool, a human construct ... all hoisted on a very human 16-year-old girl with Asperger's in the middle of all that. If you cannot see that, there's no hope for you.
sad. People like LgorTudor front but actually they see themselves as very weak which is why they feel comfortable saying a young kid, at worst she may be annoying or mislead, is oppressing him through her naive idealism and therefore subject to whatever abuse you can throw at her.

And that perspective is assuming LgorTudor is actually right that climate change is a non issue

I think Igor Tudor, along with others, are sick of figureheads pushing social agendas that translate into nothing more than raising taxes on people in the hope of solving a problem that cannot be solved. Nothing can stop climate change - it’s part of the lifecycle of any planet. One day the sun will become a red giant and vaporize Mercury, venus, and earth. No amount of taxes paid to some fucking retards is going to stop that, and neither will slaughtering 90% of humans by placing asinine restrictions on modern life. Folks always say the Bible thumpers are nuts, and rightfully so. But this climate crap is the new masochist doomsday religion of the masses. People need to chill and join a ufo cult, or engage in rent seeking for something more important, like porn anonymity.

Sun becoming a red giant will happen in around 5 000 000 000 years. Not really something we should be worrying in the near future imo. Climate change that is caused by human actions putting big amounts of greenhouse gases like CO2 and CH4 into the atmosphere is a more urgent worry. It affects and will keep affecting the living conditions of many people, animals and plants.

Not believing science is in my eyes more religious than believing it.

Somehow Andy, the blase attitude you have in this post makes me think of citizens ancient Pompei. Mocking Mount Vesuvius as a dormant little bitch, just before it Barbecue chickened them all.

So because long term there are forced we can't control does that mean pollution and over use of resources are not issues worth addressing?

Because the sun will explode in five million years there is no reason to ensure the planet is liveable for the next few hundred?

I can understand people finding Greta and similar figures very annoying but that doesn't mean the cause is invalid.

I don't understand how "hey, maybe lets not create so much single-use plastics/lets move away from fossil fuels/overuse resources/pollute as much ect" is equal to "NO ONE CAN HAVE ANY FUN AND EVERYONE GIB ME MONIES." Making any of those changes would better society. No one is saying don't have a smart phone or laptop or eat meat or whatever, what purpose does it serve to exaggerate things to such a point?
