Rejection is not a bad thing and it should not put you in the state to say "I gotta find some girl asap". That really depends on what you did. I know that when I am really angry about something, I often prefer to just not say anything at all anymore. And the last thing on my mind at that point is manipulating someone else. Also, it's never a good thing to assume your gf to be manipulative. You have to assume your gf is a grown up who wants to cooperate with you. Of course you should also be realistic and if she's manipulative, it's better to go your seperate ways. But if you're already paranoid about it now, I don't think that's a healthy attitude.
