Btw, it's been 2 weeks since I started working. I gotta say that I learned tons, I'm really satisfied with the knowledge gathered so far. We'll see how it goes in the future but in my previous jobs my motivation disappeared once everything became a routine.
You gotta find comfort in that and hope that this routine in the long run will create more exciting opportunities, but even they become stall at one point. Human are conditioned this way, that is just how our brain function; consumerism might be the best example of how new become routine and boring fairly quick.

I just have no idea how can people work the same job for over 20 years. And having my mom as an example doesn't make it any more clear.

Imagine the people who have to work outside now. :scared:
Yeah. Imagine that plus a night shift. :scared:

from every salary you invest in your mining rig :klin:
I will. But first I have to return my debt that got me into mining :D

It's crazy here when it comes to hardware. Gamers are cursing every single miner. Not only you can't find hardware but even if you find it you will see a shocking price. I used some of my connections and bought p104-100 which is brilliant for mining. I gave ~410e for it. After people saw how good it is, prices jumped to 800 euros after only 2 weeks literally. It's just crazy.

Why don't you ask her?
I did.

She thinks I'm weird for finding that weird. She says it's quite normal and she even likes it more when she's comfortable at what she does. Plus she doesn't like changes and when she's old(er) she finds it hard to settle in other companies.

She worked in one company for 25 years. Then they closed the company so she was unemplyed. That was very tough for her as she has a high school diploma (even though she worked a job with higher degree) plus she had no knowledge in English. Finding a job here for her for next to impossible, yet out of nowhere she got into some Swedish company and she works there for around 5 years now. Same job. She was hired because some people knew her from the ex-company, she was a good worker and she had tons of experience. But my moms friends from her ex company are still failing to find a job after 5 years. Talk about luck, eh...

It's a classic within sociology. "Clash" of generations: the older: working class/industrialisation age and the younger: middle class (educated/degree)/information age.

Aye. I totally get that.

However, many young folk wouldn't really agree with me.

But the gap between the generations is huge and kinda scary imo. I don't find myself (very) immature but way too often I see dialogs between the two parties end up horribly and no mutual agreement can be found. Older folks seem stuck in the past, can't digest new information as quickly and it's like talking with the wall. They are even more stubborn and won't even accept anything said by younger folk relying only on their experience from the past (which doesn't mean much nowadays).

You should see the stats on who voted leave/remain in the Brexit election. It's remarkable. Some polls even suggest that since Brexit, the amount of old people who died and those who turned 18 would change the result. The dying generation fucked up the young

True, however it could have been avoided if the young generation would have gotten their asses up to vote.

That's happening in my country. Our president is brain washing old folks very successfully. They all vote him and he's a dictator who's manipulating with the media in every possible way.

You know what happens? Shit storm one after another. Young people have no hope for anything and they don't even vote. Older folks always go to vote and they vote for the worst lier and brainwasher. We kept getting fucked because of the older. I honestly wouldn't let people vote who are over 50 :D

Is it just my experience, or is it rare to find girls/women with depth and substance?
Not your experience. You won't find it brother. They have no such thing.

But if you wanna higher your chances to the maximum you should focus those who love art. Otherwise good fucking luck.

Haha.. Welcome to almost every European country. The post war generation fucked us up demographically. We are outnumbered by old farts who refuse to die :D

Your experience. But besides the obvious of what educational background they have, I've experienced a tremendous change in women, when they are nearing 30. Altho their tits become saggy and their snatches slacky, they are a lot more insightful. With age comes wisdom

Tell me about it. Trying to stay interested while having conversation is getting harder and harder, I barely bother to try anymore.

They seem to have a very limited range of interests and knowledge. I know there are some out there, but to find one who's interesting AND looks good? Oh boy...

I think I'll try your suggestion :D

Yeah but it's so weird to see young people die from the worst illness while older folks still live like 90 years  it's like they do it on purpose!
tbh southern europe is worse off than we are up here. The youth gap is immense. Countries liek Spain, France, Portugal, Greece and the Balkans are losing an entire generation. It's so sad. I fear it'll create turmoil and increased populism [aswe have already seen]
