'Cause it's so fucking dark and cold and wet here all the time!!! To be honest I'm not sure what's the real reason, but the climate ain't helping. It probably has something to do with Soviet Union too, it's so god damn close!

Patagonia has some incredible mountains. Cerro Torre and the Fitz Roy Massif especially. Even hiking up in the alpine looks amazing. As does kayaking in the fjords.

Yeah, I was just wondering if you meant the Mengele-type, who was the actual psychopath doing the experiments and killings, or the Magnusson type who was encouraging the experiments and using human materials and data from those experiments to conduct further research.

I can't think of a synonym for that right now. Not sure there is a better one than "highly unethical". Lots of synonyms for unethical, but most wouldn't specifically fit medical practice of that kind.
