It really sucks if you're a person who values their free time.

What I don't understand is how some people enjoy being exploited like that.

I also value my free time a lot, but hours went down when new associates joined. Ultimately I opted for a healthy work/life balance with still a decent wage somewhere else. But yeah, its slavery out there mate, so my advice is to stick with it for 2 years max then look for other opportunities with more favourable conditions
