You been to a carnival yet or still too square to let loose? :D

I type this while listening to Calypso Rose and Machel Montano - Leave me alone :nico: haha. It's good for when cleaning the house.

I told you I've been to many, just not the whole costume thing :D Maybe next year for that though.

I actually like that one.

List me your fav super hero comics.
Haven't read much in ages and it's usually what my brother has around since he is the big fan collector one who buys them. Spiderman is my fav since childhood, but it's hard to pin down a specific story with him.

But in terms other superheroes, best stand alone work probably are for Batman. Long Halloween, Hush, Year one, dark victory, dark knight returns.

I recommend checking the works of some writers like Warren Ellis (transmetropolitan) , Garth Ennis (Preacher), Ed Brubaker (criminal), Brian Azzarello (100 bullets) , Michael Bendis (this for his spiderman, x men stuff)etc.

Much of what they write aren't allways superheroes (those above I recommended in apostrophe are non superhero), but Warren Ellis have one called The Authority that's very refreshing. Also recommend one series called Irredeemable. Very gritty and raw way to show what happens when the biggiest super hero is fed up being put on piedestal and turns on them.

Does punisher count as superhero for you? Either way imo Garth Ennis written Max Punisher is a must read. It's extremely compelling film noir dark style of the character, best by far for him. No heroes stuff, he just slowly decimates mobsters in his harrowing way. Pretty much the comic the Netflix series copies from.

Prolly many more smaller stuff I should recommend but as said haven't been inspired to read in a while so my mind blank.

Lol I thought you used to say it wasn't to your liking, must remembered wrong.

looking at clips of my friend who was there. She went full costume haha, tho I understand not doing it, not my thing. I like it for the music and vibe.

Have you heard /seen Uncle Ellis "I doh mind", it's hilarious how joyful he is, and inspiring (music video really emotional at first), because this old man went from homeless drifter to a successful soca dancer / artist

Never saw that video  nor heard of him. Soca really does get crazy characters like that guy sometimes.

It was probably that I wasn't so big on it to spend all that money for the full works, but how can I not enjoy a drunken parade of half or almost fully naked women in the blazing sun? :D

Haha indeed, I would be lying If I didn't say that's 80 procent of the draw, it's what the "vibe" stands for.

I'm trying to induce my girlfriend to get better at whining soca style haha. I just randomly put on Shurwayne Winchester - Born to whine in opportune times.

Just sitting here, thinking in what ways @Bjerknes can make up for his colossal mistake of voting for a demented baboon who shat in his face repeatedly.
