Where are kids starving? And nesle is called evil by selling their baby formula in those 3rd world countries that were susceptible to starvation 30 years ago.
To be perfectly honest with you I just can't stand people who complain, especially those with no life experience or knowledge of the reality on the ground.

No, the issue is that these kids weren't starving when they weren't on baby formula but were breastfed. Apparently there's also an issue with the sanitation needed to prepare the baby formula and according to Wikipedia UNICEF estimates that a formula-fed child living in disease-ridden and unhygienic conditions is between 6 and 25 times more likely to die of diarrhea and four times more likely to die of pneumonia than a breastfed child.

Truth be told I do not know nearly enough about this issue, but it's not that Nestlé gives poor quality food to people who previously had no food. The issue is that it is taking away valuable nutrients from babies to sell more of their own product.

A lot of people are starving in Serbia, let alone countries like Somalia and others. Just because it ain't a mainstream news it doesn't mean it's non-existant. If anything, press/media won't say much about it as they gotta feed the people with the 'positive' news.

Over here it's pretty much Belgrade and Novi Sad that stand out. There's Nis and a couple more cities where they are 'fine'. Other than that, especially in the south, the situation is horrible. It's a big % of the population, not just some minority.

Even if it's 25% it's horrible, let alone 50% or more. There's no way there aren't countries that are starving. When I say starving it doesn't mean how one person can't eat.

Me. Through relatives and others (my father moved back there)



Send monthly to urgent charity there for famine relief. There's been an extra hard drought for long time now, farmers/nomad families trickling into cities in the north, dropping dead on streets out of famine.
