I have no problem doing it lol. I'll probably be laughing in my head during the entire ceremony.

We probably won't get married though (although she tells me we will) because in about two years she'll go abroad to start her specialty training. She studies medicine and these specialty things take 3 to 5 years. I aint gonna wait that long.
Yeah, fuck that. Just break up now if anything

Yeah, I don't wanna be committed to something like that until I'm almost 30.

But on the other hand, she's gonna inherit a fucking small fortune. Her daddy owns two small clinics in Germany :ID:
Oh I didn't see the money part.

Got 55/100. Too general questions, says little.

Besides being in few fights because of being only black kid my age in rural hickory dump as a kid (or escaping 2 civil wars prior to getting here lol) and minor typical discrimination/normal ignorance (as a kid me and my friends used to fuck with racist shop owner, I stand in a store looking around, he glares at me like im biggiest perp, my white friends he ignores steal all his candy totally openly  ), its been fairly alright smooth sailing casual life.

But not 72 tho  But what beats of the above is the fact you live in the carribeans, lucky fucker :p

Yeah man, I'm pretty lucky. Only thing missing is being rich. Gotta check my privilege every now and again though, feel some of that white guilt :p

But when you say you escaped two civil wars, then I really feel bad

I was fairly young, its alright, 2nd civil war was accidental haha (you escape from first then 2nd erupts in your temp save haven, typical luck lol).

One of my earliest funniest memories here was my clownish uncle when we got to Sweden as wee children, kept saying to us, with uncanny serious voice, when he saw neoughboirhood swedish kids with landhockey sticks: "look a them child soldiers with machetes, 3rd civil war incoming kids"

Lol. I imagine it must have taken a while for you to believe that it was all real and not a dream, you can finally feel safe again.

Nah, I felt fairly safe mostly actually (only remember 1-2 active firefight surroundings, rest was just waiting), but you just had to keep moving. Adjustment period was fairly uneventful (left my home country at age 8-9 after all) I just started playing sega mega drive and remember one of first questions I asked my neighbours was "you telling me you have this hairy ugly starving creature as a pet?" chihuaha dogs as pets was one of the weirdest initial culture shock for me :D (dogs as pet in general was unheard for me, but especially rat like chichuahas).

Chihuahuas are stupid pets. Several people ive known have had them and all they do is sit there in their dog sweaters shivering because the climate is too cold for them. I think everytime ive seen a chihuahua (except hottest part of summer) it looked like itt was on the brink of death because of this.

What was your temp save haven?

And that's hilarious, humour is one of the best ways to fight trauma

Weirdly enough it was Yemen lol, which made it way more unexpected. Suddenly a civil that lasted just few months happens just when you there.

How soon is it considered acceptable to start looking for a new job? I'm at my current one for one year on Tuesday, my previous job I was at for one year and four months. Think this could be sending a poor message that I'll just be looking to quit after a year? I just hate the idea of stagnating in my personal (and economic :D) growth.

Every time I see one of those football sized dogs I get this urge to punt them

Would you venture to say that trouble seems to follow you?
You call it trouble, I call it opportunity

I am also curious about this. Been at my current job for 3 months and I'm already looking forward to moving on to something else once I've put about a year in
