I went to my church with my girlfriend today. Im not a Christian but she is and I know its important to her on some level that I at least give it a chance and go occasionally.

It was like going to a gig, a not-very-tight band with an enthusiastic singer played catchy tunes and said stuff inbetween songs that I didn't understand :D

Has anybody else ever been to a religious ceremony as a non-believer? Other than weddings etc obviously.

Did you come across some good Italian ebook/podcast?
Only one. It was about philosophy, in 4-5 minute episodes each. Unfortunately I don't remember what it was called, it was like 5 years ago.

I think Rai3 has some nice cultural content, but last I checked they used ip blocking to restrict access from outside Italy.

Very interesting indeed! It was a bit hard at times to just stand there and accept what the pastor was saying. Ideas like it's laughably obviously wrong to divorce your wife if you love and want to marry somebody else...yeah I just flat out don't agree with that. But hey I expected that when I went in. If I agreed with it all I'd be there every week anyway :D

I don't think you're supposed to heckle. But you could try and see what happens.
