I'll try to explain.
Minimal wages here are 22.000 dinars, which is a bit less than 200e (net wages). It's what company has to pay
legally. Now, here's the catch. On my contract I work for a minimal wage and it's what they pay me monthly... but... I get the second part, illegally, in an envelope. That second part is roughly 50-60e. There's no need to mention how that isn't mentioned anywhere in the contract, as they pay less for taxes the less they pay me.
So... after they stole a first laptop, which was worth 1000e, they wanted us to pay 100e each. They gave us the papers to sign how we "want to pay" and I said fuck no. It was only one collegue and I who refused to sign it and here's what it happened. The other ten were reduced a minimal wage for that amount while the two of us are getting full wages. But they are not going to give the envelop to us over the next two months. So we all end up paying in the end.
Yeah....
Yeah.
Now, apparently, we have another laptop missing, which is a lot cheaper. But they still want to take 25e away from all of us. Not only that, but we have 5-6 missing USB too, which we're supposed to pay. So yeah, they want to take 150e away from me and there's nothing I can do about it.
200-300e is a monthly salary for pretty much majority
150e is an amount to rent a flat
150e is needed to pay the bills, roughly. Sometimes less
150e is needed to pay the food and that's pretty much buying the worst food and starving
Please tell me how that makes sense. Because I can't figure it out. Seriously. And on the top of that they steal money away from me.
