Not one store in the mall by me had cleats, unless you count the $220 Messi 15.1s, not ONE. Modells was out of pretty much everything and moved the rest to the stockroom because the "season is over." Not here it isn't, so why would you go by Europe's schedule? You've failed me, America.

Not bad, I was looking for around that price range. I'm avoiding buying online because I've never bought cleats before, so I have no idea what size to go with considering I usually buy wide sneakers. They're tighter than sneakers, no?
Perfect fit is essential for cleats because you want to retain your foot's sensivity and transport it right into the ball. They are a lot tighter, yes and they have to be if you want to impress the girls with Pirlo wannabe passes :weee:
I ordered from a shop that lets you return it for free, got the size wrong at first but second one was perfect. If you don't have these kind of shops you better go and try them in person

I can find cleats everywhere. All the sports stores around here have them, even ROSS has some pretty good ones sometimes.

All time heat record for my city (frankfurt) established yesterday - 39°C

Amusingly it was the day when Ironman Germany took place here. Every human being who competed this thing is a goddamn BEAST and deserves a monument. I went for a jog at 10pm, died after 5km

It was insaaaaaaane. Was in Festival in Köln (got back today), packed in with 30k people in such extremely unexpected heat for entire days (friday and saturday was, yesterday chilly rain) was nuts, fun, but fucking nuts.

over 2 decades in Most sun deprived and far north of Northern Europe has had its effect :p seriously it was excrutiating heat, especially Friday (and mainly in nonstop outdoors in festival kinda circusmtance). By Sunday you adjusted a bit and drank alot of water.

its the humidity that kills me in germany mostly.

i’d rather take 40°C in egypt than 30°C here in germany.
if it was only hot - no problem.

Thats very true, infact spent over a month in Cairo few years ago (temps that regularly was over 38-39 for sure), I dont think I struggled a single moment as much as I did on Friday in Köln, and it was very much due to the humidity as you said. Some of the artists performing were hit hard lol, and made few cracks about the heat/humidity).

I don't know abou Summerjam, but the only thing I legitimately hated about every festival I went to so far was the incredible lack of water after 1/2 days in. You can basically get free beer anywhere if you ask around, but for water, you gotta go 20 minutes to a puny little spring already surrounded by a few dozen people :D

:agree:

As long as I got enough to drink I can stand heat really well though, especially compared to the cold. I should probably move somewhere else sometime :D

That is true, plus in festival area waters costs 6 euros while beer/wine/drinks cost 2-4

But thankfully people were very sharing (besides refilling it yourself often in taps in random far areas from the stage lol), was regurarly offered water without asking for it while infront of the stages.
