:agree:

As long as I got enough to drink I can stand heat really well though, especially compared to the cold. I should probably move somewhere else sometime :D
cold:heart:

That is true, plus in festival area waters costs 6 euros while beer/wine/drinks cost 2-4

But thankfully people were very sharing (besides refilling it yourself often in taps in random far areas from the stage lol), was regurarly offered water without asking for it while infront of the stages.
I never buy anything at festivals, just bring your own beer, food + 3/4 large bottles to fill with water every day :D

Yeah they generally hand out water near the stage pretty much everywhere, don't want people collapsing. The camping grounds during the day is where it gets problematic :D

Youre missing out :p

I guess it's mostly in summer 'cause of all the students, although Nova is in may or something iirc...
Anyways, having experienced both, heat is much much better than rain. That can really make things unpleasant.

Did not see him, dont know him, but that whole day avoided the stage he performed at since all the quality performers were on the other ones. Made it easy for me, unlike the time they scheduled Nneka's peformance to Damian Marley, sucked to have missed her due to stupid scheduling like that.

That is a given, FFS we get 3-4 months of decent non cold time, cant even say sun time alone since it rains half of these summer months, or more even lol, so cant complain too much. But yeah when it reaches these degrees and humidity it defenitely becomes a shock to your system, and you have to adjust.

Well you didnt travel to another country to a festival that doesnt allow you to bring in food and any kind of beverage :D (just water that they check if its truly water, fuckers lol). Plus didnt camp (hotel). So besides eating/drinking enough alcohol before goin in, kinda had to rely on what they offered inside.

P.S One time we gave our mixed drinks bag to a chill group of old peeps, they passed the check point with no issues lol, talk about preferential treatment to be 60+ years old lol.

Some german chicks told us he is such a joke, but besides that dont know anything about him, and I heard enough german reggae artists in my days (though most in english), but not him.
He's no reggae artist, he's a pop artist who kinda tries to pass off as a rapper.

Nah its worth it. Been going for 12-13 years, and this is the only time heat bothered me. I'm going to another one in Spain next month (should be more chill, its by the beach instead of boring lake).

Only way the weather can ruin a festival if it rains heavily nonstop.

Damn, that sucks. Everywhere I went to they just check for glass bottles (understandibly imo).

I don't know abou Summerjam, but the only thing I legitimately hated about every festival I went to so far was the incredible lack of water after 1/2 days in. You can basically get free beer anywhere if you ask around, but for water, you gotta go 20 minutes to a puny little spring already surrounded by a few dozen people :D
What shitty festival is this? :D

These mofos dont play around, they even had me finish my red bull can before going in lol.
You're talking about the stage area and not the entire camping area, right?
