I dont tend to pre-judge and generalize, but defenitely the most daft of the daft of aussies gtfo out their country to backpack based on my decade of encountering them in travels. Festivals, Hostels or regular vacation hotels, and its customary to to party/hang out with those in your surroundings, you get to pick up how certain groups act/behave, cant generalize whole country on them. But defenitely aussie chicks in particular tend to be the most obnoxious of all. Regardless of how hot and eager most of em were, defenitely fork in your ears worthy to listen to them blab.

The maintenance (tires/brakes, etc) is gonna be a bitch.

I'd go for the WRX unless you really think you need the extra power/slightly better handling. It looks better imo(more understated) and isn't slower by a significant amount. One of my friends has an older one and it still takes your breath away when you floor it.

It's almost the same car. And for a daily driver, I think it's better plus it's not close to as expensive. And the interior in the STi is too much haha, all the lights and colors.

I've never driven a Subaru but Mazdas are really nice, maybe a 3 SP25 or a 6.

I was sitting inside today and loved the interior. I think its only 8,000 more and going from 268hp to 305hp isn't bad. One of the maintenace guys there at the dealer said a guy brings in his STI to get oil, etc done and he modified his at 530hp so far. :dazed:

It's usually me who tells these things to my friends and you're spot on imo. However, it's pretty debatable if you wanna stand on your feet and start living alone eventually, you'd have to pay for bills, food etc. which requires a full-time job. It's not like I'd do that instantly, or some time soon, but I'd like to have an option.

You live in Serbia if I remember correctly, right?

Here it takes a year or two to get started somewhere unless you're already well-off and have connections. No government jobs or jobs in any college?

Government jobs are frozen for 1.5 year already and they will stay closed till 2016 due to IMF squeezing our balls. Still, even with jobs open in a public sector it would be hard to get a job as too many people have connections and wait in the line (and that's the only way to get it). And no, it's hard to get in colleges even with a PhD.

Hopefully it will all sort out. But man, next July it's gonna be 2 years since I graduated, it's really putting pressure on my shoulders. And for some odd reason, it seems everyone is doing better than I am.

And I'm pretty sure you know you are better than them (I mean smarter, more hardworking, committed etc.), if you do than join the club.

What hurts me the most is not someone having far better job than I do, but the fact that I know he/she graduated thanks to some kind of connections, got the job the same way, and comes to me and acts as smartass, it's disgusting.
