Well this is the drug industry in the US, which is another reason why we fail. But you do admit that certain chemicals in our food are bad, right? As a Cali man I would expect that.

You do bring up a point in that there's a little too much reliance on after-market data to know if something is harmful or not. But I'm generally a skeptic that prefers to see the data before I scream whether something is safe or whether it will alter our DNA to nurse a society of mutant aliens that will take over the world.
