That sounds nice and peaceful. I thought you're ~10 years older considering your attitude. Not just that but also considering how many movies you watched and books read. :D So I guess you're just well disciplined and a tough person to break despite $#@! thrown at ya. :hellyes:

lol I thought everybody knew my story. :D I'm 24 and I'm from Zemun (which is a part of capital - Belgrade). I'm unemployed ever since I finish my studies (which is a long, long time). So I'm currently applying for stuff and working on myself in the meantime, mostly focusing on books, trying to learn a new language and stuff.
I knew you were from Belgrade, or somewhere thereabouts... and unemployed, I think I recall that. Haven't been on Tuz long enough to know too much. What did you study?

There's a brilliant Serbian writer living in Canada. David Albahari. Have you read any of his work? Leeches is a great novel. I'm a big fan of Kiš and Pavić also.

Haven't read anything of his work. I didn't read much tbh until I finished studies because I really wanted to put all of my focus on it. And in highschool... I was a jerk lol. So I'm trying to catch up now. I've been reading quite a lot from Russians and some random classics. Plenty of books ahead of me. You should read Ivo Andrić. He won the Nobel prize and his work is pretty damn great. Prokleta Avlija is my fav one although I don't know is it translated :D

I studied economics for 4 years, graduated in July last year. Serbia is in deep shit and sadly it will only get worse. So future is not really bright here.

I'll check Andric out. I've been reading a lot of Slovenian literature lately. Drago Jancar is one of my favourite writers now. The Galley Slave; The Tree With No Name; Northern Lights; Mocking Desire. Incredible writer.

Sorry to hear that things are so shit there. I've read about it, heard it in the news, etc. But it's far different to live it. Hope things get better for you though, and you find some good work.

Snus is very common here, amongst chicks too. Almost as common as general smoking. It's not easy to find overseas so usually creative dumb ways to try to find it. After his supply ran out, friend in Latin America kept calling each Swedish embassy in every country for best way to get hold of it (was severely drunk every time), addicted dumbass.
