Which I am totally ok with, I am a feminist, equal rights is exactly what I advocate. I agree with everything you said. I have been in classes where people have said men had power for so long women should dominate men now. Which is just the worst attitude to have, two wrongs don't make a right.
Yeah I totally get what you mean.

What's particularly problematic is that these matriarchists, for lack of a better word, are so incredibly harmful to actual feminist movements by casting their negative light all over them as well.

If you want to fight for euqality it makes sense to fight for the rights of those who are currently discriminated against. Women, even in developed countries still are such a group in key social and economic issues.

I do not deny that there are perhaps some areas where men face discrimination as well of course and that they need to be addressed as well, but on the whole it's pretty much undebatable that women are worse off. Not to speak of the situation in some developing countries, where women still are often regarded as not much more than objects.

Fighting for women's rights is fighting for human rights.

I'll never forget those fat feminists that got naked right outside the cathedral in my city. They ruined my lunch... At least they could've shaven.
Naked fat hairy women and religion should both be outlawed...
