It is. My town is very tranquilo. But some of the larger cities can be a mess. Pueblanos are just really high strung as far as mexicans go. But there are a lot of Germans and Dutch living there too, so I think they're just annoyed at white people in general.

At work there was this personal safety seminar and the guy began to talk about online safety. He was asking if everyone was familiar with internet abbreviations like ASL & PRON  he then asked if we knew what 420 is and i chucked because it was so out of place. The fucker spotlights me and says "this guy knows what that means!" before going on to explain.

Now everyone at work thinks I'm a drug lord
Good.

I just find her lack of ability to debate ridiculous. You can't just palm an opposing argument as bigotry and sexist. "female video game characters are sexualised" yeah ok, but, so are male characters. It's a non issue. Let it be.

riiiiiight.

So I guess the harassment of so many women throughout this wonderful gamergate is just an illusion.

Let's get this straight. I am all for equality, I consider myself a humanist. I just think her arguments are weak and she is creating an issue out of nothing. It's a video game.

I find it incredible that in this day and age that people are still fighting for solely women's rights and not just fighting for human rights.
This. As X would tell you, women probably have more rights. And when did sexualizing stuff become a bad thing? That's what people respond to.

We cannot deny our nature. To be attracted to sexuality, obviously. In saying that we should all have equal rights. But importantly we don't have to be the same, men and women are inherently different creatures.

If you want to fight for euqality it makes sense to fight for the rights of those who are currently discriminated against. Women, even in developed countries still are such a group in key social and economic issues.

I do not deny that there are perhaps some areas where men face discrimination as well of course and that they need to be addressed as well, but on the whole it's pretty much undebatable that women are worse off. Not to speak of the situation in some developing countries, where women still are often regarded as not much more than objects.

Fighting for women's rights is fighting for human rights.

Which I am totally ok with, I am a feminist, equal rights is exactly what I advocate. I agree with everything you said. I have been in classes where people have said men had power for so long women should dominate men now. Which is just the worst attitude to have, two wrongs don't make a right.

Men were made to dominate women. Just look at coitus, we insert our meat sticks into them. Active vs Passive.

I still don't understand your disagreement. What is wrong with feminism in relation to equality? Are they arguing that women should dominate society or something?
