Don't want to offend any women here, but man a lot of them women be dumb. The worst thing that can happen is to hear in the morning how to hungover chicks communicate, fucking different language that even birds couldn't understand.
A lot are, just as a lot of guys. Easier problem to solve that it sounds: find someone who's smart. That's what I did, and I've been married to her for 12 years.

Have you tried turning it off and turning it back on?
Yes, and off again and on again and off again and on again ... in rapid succession, of course.

Where in CA would you live? walnut creek? :D
SoCal probably. We are staying in Brea where her mom lives. We went to Balboa beach in Newport yesterday during the day and then Chino Hills for a pool party last night. The drought makes me nervous, especially when you see these huge houses on the hills. :D

So many great places down here, but I also loved the SF area. But if I make this move with Randa, I think we both would rather be down south.

Problem is she works for the Navy/Airforce, so she would need to find a way to transfer or work remotely which might not be easy.

But with the state in such a bad drought, every down here has a pool. :D

San Diego is a mondo Navy town. It's the Norfolk of the West.

Great weather, good tacos, but not too much else to do there besides watch Fox News though.

I don't watch TV much anymore, so I think I'd be fine. I know she has already looked into San Diego. She is going to try and fill out a few forms requesting to work remotely a few days a week (in Cali) then head onto a base the other few days if required. It's all up to the military though. My life hangs at their mercy :D

Meh, I Drudge, I don't Fox.

I'm thinking of sacrificing length to focus more on being as sharp around the greens as possible.

Current thinking is 4-iron, 7-/8-iron and a lofted wedge (either 54 or 58 degree).

Most people I've spoken to are planning to take a wood of some sort, though.

I regularly play with people that make me wonder why they bother dragging a full set of clubs round.

Most of them would do every bit as well with a half set or even less.
No need for a wood IMO unless the course has a surplus of par 5's and longer par 4's. But no driver? What would you be teeing off with?

Google Labs really need to step their game up

Give it a crack with the 4-iron.

Can still drill it over 200 yards if I keep it low and get a little run.

I don't carry a driver with me anyway because I'm no good at hitting one. Stopped carrying a driver years ago because I reckoned it was doing me more harm than good.

Hit a 3-wood when I really need distance, but hit a 2- or 3-iron off the tee mostly (though I generally don't actually use a tee when hitting them).
