Not to worry, there's a dog up the street that's apparently very rare. An Alaskan Malamute/Wolf cross that's next on my list. Neighbor told me someone offered her a couple grand for it, now I know how much to ask for

Thunderstorms form when there is sufficient heating of the atmosphere and something to make the air rise. Cold fronts generally cause a majority of our tstorms because of the instability from the temperature differences between the two air masses. The further north you go, less heat is available to cause nasty storms.
