A military friend of mine pointed it out: surface-to-air missiles by terrorists or from suddenly hostile airspace. Apparently at least six commercial planes have been downed that way in the past.

So now I have to ask: why isn't David Copperfield being brought in for questioning?

Seriously, this is turning out to look like a real-life Oceans 11-style heist to me.

Update: commercial pilot friend said they never worry about missiles. It's about malfunctioning equipment, fires, and diverting power if necessary as much as anything.

Never really a huge fan of the Super Nintendo, as weird as that sounds.
