Saying it on her wedding day is even worse.

Then again, it might be a wrong interpretation. Some would find it helpful.

Living in a fake world is never a good thing.
Nobody will find that shit helpful on their wedding day. She already reached the point of no return. You just don't give people second thoughts on a wedding day. Also, if I were getting married today, I'd honestly rather live in the illusion that everything is great, and then find out a few weeks later that everything is in fact fucked up. Dealing with that sort of shit on your wedding day is too much drama.

Who the hell writes "you're probably going to be divorced" on the day a person is getting married?
Well that's just a random thought.

Why would you say 'you will never get divorced' if you don't mean it? It's not like they will burn us alive for the freedom of speech like in the old days. I should mean nothing to her so my opinion should stay totally irrelevant to her. She should be like 'fuck you' or something like that if any random person gets on her way. If not and if she gets cold feet because of that then there's something really wrong with her.

Anyway, I said my congrats and to prove me wrong, that erases half of the 'bad' stuff I guess.

When someone is cocksure about their relationship then it does not matter what is written before the big day.
Exactly.

I'm not saying that it affected her, it was just a surprising display of lacking situation awareness :p

There's a time and place for everything, Dusan. She's talked about her marriage for a few months now, and then was probably a better time to say what you just said. Saying it now is pointless no matter how much you mean it. Some thoughts are better left unexpressed.

@Ragazza

Before stepping into marriage you should read some work from Desiderius Erasmus (Erasmus of Rotterdam). In christiani matrimonii institutio you can see that dialogs are more important than beauty. You were not living with the guy as far as I know, you probably have no clue who he really is actually. It goes down to this -- what's a bigger madness, a marriage or a divorce? I guess it goes down to an individual, but you have a divorce written all over your profile.

Then again, who am I to judge. I find the whole concept of marriage silly at some point.

Now, hopefully my tag won't ruin your 'big day'. So I can also say: it's better to do something and regret, then not do it and still regret.
:lol: you must be the life of the party :p
