I don't think that's necessarily the case, at my workplace there's a much higher ratio of women to men in the first place so the "token female" thing doesn't really work.

I'm hoping the fact that I almost always cover people's shifts if they ask earns me some points & cancels out the bad though. I'm also never late, never missed a day, sales goal almost always on target or above. I've probably got nothing to worry about in all honesty, but I can't help it.

Retail huh. How do you like that?
I like the job itself, I meet a lot of interesting people. We carry a lot of imported products from Europe (lot of stuff from France, Italy) so a lot of expats shop there.

Can't help but think I should be doing something better with my life though, but I don't want to look for a new job now when I'm moving in ~6 months anyway.

Having a Peroni while eating an eclair.

Reminds of an Aberdeen supporters bus that used to stop in Tesco in Dundee on the way to away games.

The group I'd be going with would split up so some folk would head for an alcohol top-up, while the other half would head to the bakery to get something nice as an accompaniment for the booze on the bus.

Shame that bus doesn't run any more. :depressed
