The thing I've been reading the most about him is that he said atheists will go to heaven if they live a moral life. Also something good about homosexuals? I really didn't need to be told that from someone like him.

Whether we like it or not 1.2 billion people are Catholic, so unless you have some idea which would make even Hitler think "easy there, cowboy", I think it's pretty great that this pope is taking huge steps to make the religion compatible with modern life and the ideals we base it on.
