Other than the mostly bad food and the ability to surf on the North Shore a bit, I'd go nuts after about a month there. There's only so much entertainment you can get out of hanging out in Japanese tourist malls where all the announcements are in Manga-ese. Honolulu is a very ugly city in a pretty place. Not to mention the Hawaiian drivers, who are some of the slowest and most clueless in the world.
