Well, I don't really watch enough of it to be able to say that for sure, but the impression surely isn't great. The only American TV I watch regularly is The Daily Show and from time to time Jimmy Kimmel Live. This is of course excluding fiction series and films.

It's quite odd because, in my experience, most people who enjoy whisky are beer/ale drinkers.

I seem to be quite unusual in enjoying lager and fine whisky.
